Perfect Pitch Seminar

The Perfect Pitch Seminar and Employer Panel Discussion for Further Education and Training Services took place on May 26th, Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny. This workshop on “ Perfect Pitch” was delivered by Catherine Moonan. Catherine is the author of “Pitch” and prepares Dragon’s Den participants with their pitch. Catherine worked with our exiting students on their networking pitch with potential employers. The day also included a panel discussion with Ann Foxe, Principal, St Patrick’s National School, Lurgybrack, Lynn Mc Laughlin, HR Consultant, Fortius HR, Inishowen, Jim Mc Cabe, Managing Director, Ferm Engineering, Donegal Town, Patrick Murray, Manager for Tulsa West Ireland and Martin Mc Elhinney, General Manager, Mc Elhinney’s Department Store. These employers gave a great insight into how they recruit and gave our students great tips to succeed in a competitive jobs market. Donegal ETB are looking forward to increased links with employers and opportunities to make meaningful connections on behalf of our students.
