[lang_en-uk]The 2014 Cycle Against Suicide around the complete island of Ireland (including Northern Ireland this year) is upon us. The marathon cycle event began in Dublin on Monday 28th April and ends again in Dublin on May 11th. On route the cyclists will be passing through areas in Donegal with stops scheduled at some of the ETB Schools – namely Abbey Vocational School, Donegal Town and Moville Community College, Inishowen where the students and staff and local community will welcome the cyclists and take care of their needs and safety of their bicycles and gear overnight. Naturally the need of Homestays are a vital part of this event where the cyclists can stay overnight. This will be paramount along all the route and also in the Derry area where the event will be on May 7th. Gartan Outdoor Education and Training Centre are once again making available overnight facilities this year. Please link here for all information for Cycle 2014, information on Homestays and information is also available from Deirdre Mc Colgan at 077 36717334 / 086 6076024.
Together, shoulder to shoulder, we can break the cycle of suicide on the island of Ireland.[/lang_en-uk]
